Strawberry Victoria Sponge

This was my first attempt at making a Victoria sponge. I took the basic recipe from Mary Berry's Baking Bible. The sponge was very buttery and soft. I used strawberry preserves for the filling. It is topped with fresh cream and strawberries. This was a very popular cake at our house and was gone before the end of the day!
